Joy Ringers Bell Choir

The Joy Ringers are an all-ages bell choir directed by Regi Wieland at the United Methodist Church in Oakley. If you have any interest in participating, please reach out. No hand bell experience is necessary. We will train new members of any skill level, though some music experience is always helpful. While we typically perform for Sunday services at the Methodist Church and occasionally at other venues such as Logan County Senior Living, members need not be affiliated with the Methodist Church directly. We enjoy making music with anyone who wants to participate.

Opportunities

Becoming a volunteer

Anybody in the community can post opportunities here. You can read about them - and feel free to reach out and ask questions if you have any! To apply depends on the job, but you most of the time you can either call or e-mail the organization who posted it via the details they provided along with the opportunity.

Volunteers don't get paid - not because they are not worth anything - but because they are priceless! In a loving community, it's important to have volunteers. Volunteers are often the souls, the foundation and the reason why organizations and projects exist and come to life. Being motivated and having the will to power through is great and always welcome, but even if you just have a few hours here and there, donating your time means the world to us. The more hands the merrier. Oh - and there are also perks such as having a strong bond and a volunteer family. What's not to love?!

Becoming a member

Different organizations and projects needs members for various reasons. Here, you can read about the different places in our community and what they do. Maybe it sounds just like you, and we would love to invite you!

Funding

Funding is the basis of a lot of important work done by volunteers and members spending their free time building our community. If you want to help by donating some money to some of the projects, it can mean everything for them!
